The dentist will check not only your mouth but your head, neck, jaw and soft tissues for any irregularities. They will also check your gums and bite and give you a full clinical examination of your teeth, including two routine x-rays per year, if required.

The periodontal plan is designed to help you budget for your oral health over time, providing more complex hygiene treatments for those who may be experiencing periodontal disease (gum disease). We will set reminders to help you attend your check-ups and hygiene visits so we can look after you in the very best way possible.
Your periodontal plan includes two dental check-ups per year. Our check-ups are very thorough. The dentist will check not only your mouth but your head, neck, jaw and soft tissues for any irregularities. They will also check your gums and bite and give you a full clinical examination of your teeth, including two routine x-rays per year, if required.
Periodontal treatments are intended to treat periodontal disease. Your hygienist will clean below the gum line to remove plaque and debris built up in areas that you can't clean yourself. We recommend this treatment every three months if you have active gum disease as it can help to prevent tooth loss.

The Dental Hub Knaresborough Implant Protection Plan allows you to plan for the ongoing care of your dental implant(s). Dental implants are strong, durable, and designed to last. But just like your natural teeth, they need care and attention to stay in great shape. By joining our Implant Protection Plan, you will spread the cost of regular appointments so that we can spot potential issues early, avoid problems and support you in making your implant last longer.
Your implant protection plan includes a free dental hygiene appointment, to remove tartar build-up from around the gum line and remove plaque and surface stains from your teeth.
You will be shown how to care for your dental implant with personalised advice tailored to your mouth and the type of restoration used. It’s important that you follow this advice to maintain the health of both the gum and bone surrounding the implant.
Your implant protection plan will include 2 reviews each year with your implant dentist. Review appointments are important to check the gum and restoration. An x-ray may also be taken to check the health of the bone around the implant. It’s important that you attend to have the implant checked so that any potential problems can be found and corrected early.
The Dental Hub Knaresborough implant protection plan covers all necessary repairs to your dental implant(s) during the term of your plan* (subject to terms and conditions).
